Financial IQ
I came across an interesting test about financial IQ (they call it BillsIQ, because it is on bills.com). The test consists of five different categories: credit, debt, budget, wealth and life plan, each have five multiple choice problems to test how much financial awareness you have. As you see, I got a pretty desent score, :).
After the test, they will promote some of their products that fit your profile best, such as Credit card debt help. Even if you are not interested in their products, I think the test is very helpful and worth a try. When you finish the test, you will be aware of some basic rules to deal with financial matters. It could never be overemphasized how important it is to deal with your financial problems in the right way. Because it affects your whole life and your whole family’s life.
As I discussed before, I was once in great debt, due to the inproper use of credit cards. At that time, I was like living in the hell. Endless stress attacked me every day. Then I did an extensive research on my money matter and read a lot of articles. And finally I did it, I could see the diminishing of the debt.
I thought I had a good enough understanding of personal finance before I did the test. There are a lot more issues to consider: your retirement, your kids education, your risk management, and a lot more.
Learning is an endless trip, even for money matters.
